About Bushwhackr

Built for people who would rather live the story than hand it over to a platform.

Bushwhackr started with a love for the woods, a need to be ready, and the belief that the people living these experiences should own how they share them. Too many platforms are built around extraction, surveillance, and control. We wanted something different.

We wanted a place where bushcraft, preparedness, field skills, packouts, trails, camp knowledge, and real outdoor experience could be shared by a community that respects self-reliance, stewardship, and each other.

Why Bushwhackr Exists

We are tired of corporations taking our data, shaping the way we communicate, and governing how people share the experiences that matter most to them.

Rooted in the Real World

Bushwhackr was born from time outdoors, not boardrooms. It comes from the reality of building skills, testing gear, learning from mistakes, and staying prepared.

Built for Community

This is a place to practice, prove it, and share it — with tools that support your time in the field instead of distracting from it.

The Mission

A more trusted, useful, and grounded outdoors platform.

Bushwhackr is being built for people who care about more than posting a pretty picture. It is for those who want to document trails, improve their packouts, learn plants, connect with others, and develop real confidence in the field.

It is also being built with a different philosophy: users should not feel like the product. Your knowledge, your stories, and your experience should not be stripped down into engagement bait or mined for maximum extraction.

We believe the future of outdoor community should feel more like a trusted base camp and less like a noisy algorithm.

What We Believe

Preparedness matters

Confidence comes from skill, repetition, and having the right tools when they count.

Experience should be shared on your terms

Outdoor knowledge should belong to the people earning it, not be controlled by platforms chasing leverage.

Technology should support the field

The best tools help you prepare, navigate, learn, and connect without pulling you away from what is real.

Founders

Built by people who actually care about the woods.

Bushwhackr is being shaped by founders who care about the craft, preparedness, independence, and building something with real utility for the community.

The Bottom Line

Bushwhackr is for people who want something more real.

More ownership. More usefulness. More trust. More connection to the land, the skillset, and the stories worth telling. This is a platform built from a love of the woods, a need to be prepared, and the drive to build the resources to actually get it done.
